Approved the following items on the Consent Calendar:
4) Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Commission held October 13, 2026;
5) MDOT contract 2026-0886 for the acquisition of a pull-behind broom attachment for the new airport loader and authorized the City Manager to sign the agreement;
6) City’s 50% share of the cost for improvements to the perimeter gate and fencing at the Isabella County MRF along with a budget amendment;
7) Resolution to optout of Public Act 152 of 2011 for the 2027 plan year, as authorized under Section 8 of the Act;
8) Payrolls & Warrants.
Approved policy providing free menstrual products in City-owned public restrooms.
Approved resolution to adopt agenda format as required by Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances.
Approved contract with Preston Community Services for Building Permitting, Inspection, and Plan Review Assistance Services and authorized the City Manager to sign the agreement.
Approved Resolution to Simplify Building Permit and Plan Review Fee Schedule.
Approved and conducted Closed Session pursuant to subsection 8(c) of the Open Meetings for strategy and negotiation sessions connected with negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement.
Ratified contract as presented.
