Improvements are coming to two Mt. Pleasant parks as restoration projects begin at Chipp-A-Waters and Millpond.

During the project, the bridge to Veits Woods and the trail between the bridge and the lower Chipp-A-Waters parking lot will be closed. The work is expected to take around two weeks to complete.

Following the Chipp-A-Waters project, restoration work will begin on the Millpond dam. The Leaton Street entrance to Millpond Park will be closed during the project, along with portions of the trail system.

Please follow all posted closures and use caution around work areas. These temporary closures will help crews safely complete the restoration work and improvements at both parks.
