Stay home. Stay safe. Save lives. Governor’s Stay at Home Order Extended Through April 30.

STAY HOME

To combat the spread of COVID-19 in Michigan, Governor Whitmer extended the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order 2020-42 requiring Michiganders to stay at home through April 30, 2020. We are still trying to get used to this new normal, but we must stay the course and follow the stay at home order. Why?  Because this virus knows no limits. All age groups are susceptible, all communities at risk.

STAY SAFE

We must remember why we are doing what we are doing. We are staying at home in order to keep our family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and community members safe. Act as if you have the virus, stay at home; stay 6 ft. away from others when you go to the store, or enjoy the outdoors. And, if you do go to the store, go alone.

FACE COVERINGS

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services recommends individuals over the age of two wear a face covering when leaving their home.  A face covering is any well-secured cloth (like a bandana or scarf) that covers your mouth and nose. Cloth face coverings are different from a surgical or N95 mask which must be reserved for healthcare workers and first responders.

SAVE LIVES

The road to recovery involves staying home now to reduce the spread of the virus, and to us resuming our normal lives sooner, rather than later. Thank you for protecting the health and safety of your community.
